The goal of the project is to support the planning of a usability and acceptance study for evaluating a novel user assistance software. PTA provides support by planning the test procedures, defining the study content, and providing the methodology for analyzing the resulting data.
Supplement
The study takes place at several sites in the US with domain experts as study participants. It is a qualitative field study. The basis of the evaluation is the assistance software itself. Both on- and offline questionnaires are used. The data is analyzed qualitatively as well as quantitatively (using the SPSS statistics software package) to meet the customers‘requirement for a user centred design approach and to suffice with EN ISO 62366, 9241 and 14971. The results are reported to the project management to provide an empirical base for decision making, and documented in accordance with the customers‘policies.
