Separating the integrated SAP system landscape (SAP IS-U, SAP BI and SAP CRM) and jointly used data objects into two independent SAP system landscapes for the network and supply sides of an energy supply company, with the corresponding data migration and conversion of business processes and communication according to the legislative requirements (GPKE specifications from the Federal Network Agency).
Supplement
The focus of the project is on unbundling the integrated SAP BW 7.0. This separation takes place by structuring two independent SAP BW systems for the energy supplier’s network and supply sides, with a corresponding migration of the BW data model and the data content.
Subject description
Unbundling means the legal requirement to separate out the monopolistic functions (transfer and distribution) of power and gas suppliers from the freely-organized activities (generation, trade and sales). Unbundling measures aim to avoid discrimination, cross-subsidies, and distortions to competition. Based on the level of separation between these activities, unbundling is separated into accounting, informational, operational and legal unbundling.
