Brief description
Involvement in the implementation of a workflow-supported control system. The Workflow Engine application module is responsible for controlling and monitoring the flow of orders between work stations in a print and media company across pre-press, press and post-press. Data exchange was implemented with XML.
Supplement
The Workflow Engine application module includes the functions: configuration of the input and output channels (configurator), administration and system monitoring of the Workflow Engine, routing processes, the most extensive possible automatic control of the workflow, creating, supplementing and repeating job tickets, and simple manual planning and possibilities to intervene in workflow control (rules). Job tickets are present in the XML-based file format JDF from the CIP4 organization.
